Built for the Game
A Shopify storefront for specialist padel retail

Project overview
AAZ Stores brings padel rackets, bags and accessories together in a Shopify storefront. Our project scope was Shopify development. The finished experience presents a specialist sports catalog through campaign imagery, collection pages and detailed product information. This case study follows the visible journey from the homepage to a racket collection and an individual product, using actual website screenshots.
Challenge
A specialist equipment store needs to serve shoppers with different starting points. Some visitors know the brand they want; others are choosing by racket shape or looking for guidance. The development challenge is to support those paths within a consistent storefront, while keeping product information and availability easy to find. For this project, the key story is how the catalog is presented across connected Shopify pages.
A homepage that introduces the range
The homepage combines a prominent search field with category navigation and a large campaign banner. Further down the page, racket-shape collections provide another route into the catalog. This structure gives shoppers a choice between searching directly and browsing a curated group. Best-selling and new-arrival sections also create merchandising opportunities without requiring visitors to begin with the complete product list.

Collection browsing with context
The rounded-shape collection uses a clear heading, introductory copy and a product card area. Filter and sorting controls sit above the listing. The page therefore provides context before presenting a specific item. During capture, this collection contained one displayed product; the screenshot reflects that live catalog state rather than a staged demonstration. The layout maintains the same header and service-information strip as the homepage.
Product information at the decision point
The inspected NOX product page places a large image gallery beside the title, price, quantity controls and stock status. Thumbnail images offer additional views, while the product content below includes a description and specifications. Grouping these elements on a dedicated Shopify product page makes the information available in one place. The captured item was marked sold out, so the case study does not claim that an order or checkout was completed.

Shopify development focus
Our contribution is described as Shopify development, as specified in the project brief. The public storefront demonstrates linked homepage, collection and product templates, with shared navigation and catalog presentation. Those visible elements define the scope of this portfolio story. The underlying theme code, app configuration, payment setup and any custom integrations were not provided for review; they are not attributed to our team as independently verified deliverables.
Supporting the shopping journey
Search, category navigation and collection links make product discovery visible throughout the store. Product pages then bring imagery and item details closer to the buying decision. Service messages and expandable information areas provide additional points of reference. These elements serve different stages of the journey, from exploring the range to reviewing an individual racket. Their appearance is documented here; a full functional, accessibility or mobile audit is outside this case study.
Results
The delivered storefront gives AAZ Stores a connected Shopify presence for its padel catalog. Observable outcomes include a consistent header across key pages, multiple discovery routes on the homepage, a collection template with browsing controls and a product template that groups imagery, pricing and availability. These are concrete features of the published experience. Revenue, conversion uplift, traffic growth and loading-speed improvements are not quantified because no baseline or analytics records were supplied.
